Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support within the comfort of their own homes. Responsible for providing care and services for agency clients, including routine light house cleaning, meal preparation, dishwashing, bed making and companionship.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Medication reminders
- Help with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean environment
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed
-Follow ForWARD Health policies and procedures
-Performs duties under the supervision of the ForWARD Health Manager and designee
-Provide non-medical homemaker services for assigned clients
-Report any observed environmental concerns or changes in the consumer’s status that may impact the safety and security of the consumer to ForWARD Health
-Completion of appropriate service notes regarding service provision of each visit, to include confirmation of services provided and the date and time in and out, according to ForWARD Health policy
-Duties include: Routine light house cleaning, companionship, meal preparation, dishwashing, and bed making, teaching of tasks to the consumer and assisting clients in completing activities outside the home, such as shopping or laundry
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and their families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation for traveling to client homes
- CPR/First Aid certification is desirable
-Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks without guidance

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
